🍯A Sweet CAUSE Behind the Honey Festival! 🌟😍 Did you know the WV State Honey Festival was adopted by Wood County Rec? Every dollar raised goes toward programs that reach thousands of kids in the Mid-Ohio Valley, from free events like the Fishing Derby and Summer Camp to elementary school sports, ensuring no child is left behind. Proceeds allowing us to offer scholarships so every child has the chance to participate in all of our programs. 💛 Behind the scenes Bill and Kela work daily to keep the Honey Festival and the rest of Wood County Rec programs and events growing and adapting to reach more kids, expand our programs, and ensure a bright future for our community. We couldn’t do it without our volunteers, sponsors, families, and board of directors! When you attend the Honey Festival, you’re not just enjoying amazing food, crafts, and entertainment—you’re supporting the children of your community and helping us keep dreams alive for generations to come. 🌟🐝
