Nettie's Bees

About Nettie's Bees

Nettie’s Bees is a small family apiary in Rochester, MA, run by beekeeper Nerija “Nettie” Kupryte-Hopkins, who learned beekeeping from her father in Lithuania. It started in 2018 with one hive helping a local cranberry grower, and it’s been growing ever since. The bees come first here. Nettie harvests conservatively and leaves them plenty of honey for winter. Our raw honey changes with the seasons: blueberry blossom, cranberry blossom, summer wildflower and Japanese knotweed. Visit our self-serve Honey House at 13 Shadow Farm Lane, or find us at South Coast stores and farmers markets. We don’t ship. We also offer free swarm retrieval and pollination services.
